For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us
who are being saved it is the power of God.
1 Cor 1:18
How did we get off track? The message is Jesus Christ and Him crucified!
Jesus told us if we lift Him up, "He will draw all men unto Himself"
The implication is that as disciples
and followers of Christ we walk after Him and walk as He walked.
But Jesus answered them,
saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. Most assuredly,
I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep
it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will
be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
Jn 12: 23-26
The streets belong to Jesus by blood right, they are His inheritance, though
we don't presently see them under His direct control we as sons and daughters of the kingdom begin the process of
bringing in the fulfillment of His Promised Return!
