Livin Lattes International working within the guidelines of Acts 2:42-46 believes that we should present
our entire lives to the work of Christ's kingdom. Through prayer and desparate entreaty we were led in May
of 2006 to open a cafe to serve coffee and pastry, presently we serve what has been called by the locals, "the best food
in town".
Livin Lattes is located in the center of our local town (Pilot Mountain, NC) in
an attractive restored old building. As you study our website and study the order of our website pages we offer to our
community good food and drink first and then over the course of time we present the message of Christ and invite them
to our church service on Sunday and Bible Study on Monday night.
In certain instances we present Christ first
through the preaching of the word when we offer local concerts to the youth of our area, all this we do in an act of obedience
to Christ and also obedience to the great commission.
Mt. 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,
"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make
disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching
them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Young People impacted:
Our first objective was simply to present a real family
to the local community that has a father and mother and seven children. We believe one of the greatest ways
to impact the next generation of Americans is through the life of a real family under the Lord's guidance. Located
on Main street of a once prosperous old town we hope that our children running on the sidewalks and between buildings will
draw more kids to our downtown area, so for better or worse we are out in public view and on full display to our town.
Sharing Jesus is very natural process since we are always open for business, after school kids naturally can
come and hang out enjoy a smoothie or just a glass of water and we in turn through our family build relationship with these
kids. As of the close of 2007 we have experienced a place in the hearts of the young folks that have come by since we
opened in May of 2006.
Musical Events are scheduled inside and outside our location with a purpose to entertain
but also to share the glorious message of Jesus and His love for sinners. In the middle of our small town on several
spring, summer, and fall nights the gospel has been presented to hundreds of people. During the rest of the year
every Friday and Saturday night we encourage sharing of our faith and worship of His great name!
At the beginning
of December 2007 we have witnessed several young people who we have built relationships over the last few months come to Christ.
Now we must continue to disciple them in the ways of Christ and what better way then to be open every day and present our
lives and our hearts to them through our cafe, who knows what could happen positively for these young folks many years from
now.
